Leopard 2a5 & 2a6

The orginal model of this Leopard (2a4) i have created way back in Operation Flashpoint times when Bohemia Interactive let me Betatest their upcoming modding tools. I think this was around 2002 or so? Don’t remember exactly.
The model had changed a lot over time and you will even find an older video on my youtube channel when i started to port it over to the newer Armed Assault Game by Bohemia Interactive. If you have look you will notice the differences.

The model itself was later used and modified by different mods in the Community but the last time i played around with it was in the early ArmA2 days. Now when i rediscovered this model i thought lets give it a try and see if it still loads in ArmA3. And to my surprise the game loaded without any problems it only is missing some pbo’s and the configs are useless. So it still looks quite nice but at the moment it is nothing more than a better looking brick because it has no functions. (you can’t get in and out….)

Art is never finished, only abandoned.”
Looking back at all the projects i worked on over the years this may be the best fitting description. At some point you just make the decision that you are done with a project but not because it is finished but because of the feeling that it is good enough for that very moment.
